Adrian Jacobsen

Adrian Jacobsen is Senior Vice President, Commercial for TPC Group. Mr. Jacobsen oversees all commercial activities including sales, business management and strategic raw material purchasing, logistics, planning and optimization and customer service along with P&L responsibility for the Company’s three business units, Performance Materials, Specialty Products and Octane Enhancers, in addition to logistics, customer service and operations planning.

Mr. Jacobsen joined TPC Group in August of 2012. Mr. Jacobsen progressed through various leadership positions in commercial and corporate development.   In 2015, Mr. Jacobsen had P&L responsibility for the Octane Enhancers business segment along with responsibility for Raffinate and MTBE sales from the Performance Materials business segment.   In 2023, Mr. Jacobsen joined the Senior Leadership team, ultimately adding responsibility for Corporate Development and P&L responsibility for the Octane Enhancers and Specialty Products business segments.

Mr. Jacobsen has more than 30 year in the petrochemical industry. He started his career with Fina Oil and Chemical (now TotalEnergies) and held a variety of manufacturing positions for 15 years in production, maintenance, projects and environmental. In 2009, Mr. Jacobsen transitioned to commercial roles as Olefins Commercial Manager and Business Manager/Marketing Supply Chain Manager supporting the Polymers Business unit.

Mr. Jacobsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University.
